iPad available from April 3 in US, but not so soon here

Apple has announced “availability date”:http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2010/03/05ipad.html for the US – 3 April – with pre-ordering starting from 13 March. For International market, only selected countries will receive the iPad sometime later in April.

bq. Apple® today announced that its magical and revolutionary iPad will be available in the US on Saturday, April 3, for Wi-Fi models and in late April for Wi-Fi + 3G models. In addition, all models of iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in late April.

That meant that poor us here in Singapore will have to wait for a few more weeks before the iPad becomes available, like how the iPhone took months before it became available.

In the mean time, let’s enjoy more iPad goodness by watching this new TVC that appeared first on this year’s Oscars Award today. With “The Blue Man’s”:http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/there-goes-my-love/id293175552?i=293175620 There Goes My Love, the TVC quickly shows the “features”:http://www.apple.com/ipad/features/ and “new apps”:http://www.apple.com/ipad/app-store/ that will be available on the iPad.

So will you be getting one and which one will you buy?
