In similar sounding statements, both SingTel, Starhub and M1 have indicated that they will begin selling Apple’s iPhone 5 from Friday 21 September.

“SingTel’s short statement”:http://info.singtel.com/personal/communication/apple/iphone5:

bq. SingTel today announced it will offer iPhone 5, the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, to customers in Singapore beginning Friday, September 21.

“Starhub’s slightly longer statement”:http://www.starhub.com/content/corporate/newsroom/2012/09/media-statement—iphone-5.html:

bq.. StarHub today announced it will offer iPhone 5, the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, to customers in Singapore beginning Friday, September 21. For more information, please visit: www.starhub.com/iphone. For more information on iPhone 5, please visit: www.apple.com/iphone.

Details on pricing, tariffs and availability dates will be released in due course.

p. “M1′s similar short statement on Facebook”:https://www.facebook.com/mobile1/posts/10151081691051185

bq. M1 today announced it will offer iPhone 5, the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, to customers in Singapore beginning Friday, September 21. For more information on iPhone 5, please visit: www.apple.com/iphone.

p. Guess Starhub didn’t want to play catch up again (see above screengrab) while M1′s probably still sorting out their increasing rubbish of a website. (so bad till they announced it on Facebook but not on their own site)

One thing which neither Telcos are saying is whether there will be a pre-order or it will be a first-come-first-grab queue system at midnight of the 21 September. We will update when we hear more.
