Apple just released a new ad about the iOS 6 feature – Do Not Disturb – which you can set to silent your phone even if new calls or alerts arrived. It won’t even vibrate. A good thing to have if you are going into meetings or at night.
However, with the turning of the New Year, there is some bug in iOS 6 that prevents the scheduled Do Not Disturb to disable after the scheduled end time. Apple released a Support Note saying that it will be fixed…by itself.
Do Not Disturb scheduling feature will resume normal functionality after January 7, 2013. Before this date, you should manually turn the Do Not Disturb feature on or off.
On hindsight, they should have released the ad after Jan 7.
