apple.com in 2001

Charlie Hoehn took a ride through the Internet Archieve Wayback Machine and collated most of the home page for apple.com in the last 15 years.

There are 141 slides and you can see how Apple has not deviate much from their homepage design since May 1998. There is the main feature section right on top, followed by three or now four highlights that links to various sections with incremental uses of newer web technology, very similar to how Apple push out their products.

You can look at the Apple’s site over the years via the Wayback Machine as well.
