starhub-iphone

Never the first, but who’s complaining right? Starhub started taking orders for iPhone 3GS with a similar “pre-order”:http://www.starhub.com/promotions/events/iphone3gs.html coming just a few days after M1′s similar “program”:/2009/11/reserve-your-m1-iphone-now/.

Besides that, there is no news of any packages, promotions or pricing information from both M1 and Starhub. We will update you immediately upon hearing them! Keep a look out!

m1-iphone

M1 has started allowing interested customers to reserve their iPhone 3Gs at their “website”:https://www.m1.com.sg/iPhone/preorder.jsp although no pricing information has been provided yet. This year end festive period will be an exciting time for M1 and Starhub customers as they wait to get their hands on the iPhone 3Gs.

With all telcos selling the iPhone by end of the year, wonder when the “Apple Store”:http://www.s2d6.com/x/?x=c&z=s&v=1956527&k=iheartapple will start selling them without contract, like in “Hong Kong”:http://store.apple.com/hk-zh/browse/home/shop_iphone/family/iphone?mco=MTAyNTQzMTI

Starhub ... slow

As some of you might know, I for one has been waiting for a “long”:/2008/08/the-iphone-is-here-but-i-am-not-getting-it/ “time”:http/2008/08/an-open-letter-to-starhub-dear-sparky/ for “Starhub”:/2008/11/starhub-not-going-to-bring-iphone-in-this-year/ to “get the iPhone”:/2009/03/starhub-getting-it/ … two long years. And after “M1 got the deal”:/2009/10/m1-to-offer-iphone-by-year-end/, I decided that the wait is not worthwhile and so – too bad for Starhub, I’ve gone RED.

Well, they took their time and for those who are still with Starhub, good for you! They will finally bring the iPhone by the end of this year. No news on pricing and availability, but with M1 also making the iPhone available this year, it would probably be launched at the same time.

So if you have been waiting on the fence about switching to get the iPhone, the decisions been made for you.

And with this announcement, the finally piece of the puzzle is out – iPhone will rule Singapore!
